12 Mediterranean Film Festival started this morning at 9 a.m. with the film workshop, which is about alternative film this year. Croatian director with great experience at this type of film Zdravko Mustać leads the workshop.
12 participants of the workshop had the chance to hear the introductory words about the experimental film – origins, the creation of a film like this, the sub-genres, etc. And Zdravko Mustać said that, in his 30 years old career in film industry, he made a conclusion that there are even 50 sub-genres of experimental film. At the end of today’s workshop the participants saw some of these films and discussed all of that with Z. Mustać. Tomorrow at 9 a.m. is the second day of the workshop with some more theoretical work, and then the practical part will follow, shooting for a film like that.
The fore program of 12 MFF started tonight at 7 p.m. with the American documentaries “Automorphosis”, made by Harrod Blank and “The poster girl”, made by Sara Nesson, Latino glazba u Americi; The Chicano wave; redatelja John J. Valadez... This fore-program with the review of excellent documentaries will continue tomorrow at the same time – 7 p.m.
