'Da Capo' - the film about the Music school in Široki Brijeg is from now online
You can watch the documentary film 'Da Capo', directed by Zdenko Jurilj, which tells the story of 40 years of Music school in Široki Brijeg, at online vimeo service from today. Premiered in the program 'Local authors' at the 16th edition of the Mediterranean Film Festival, 'Da Capo' is talking about nearly 150-year-long musical history of Široki Brijeg.

It is a story about the founders, professors and students of this school, who attracted the attention of the then Yugoslav public with their performances and brought a handful of awards they won at prestigious competitions.

In addition to performances with famous singer Mary Cetinić, they recorded two albums for which the songs were composed by eminent authors, such as Zdenko Runjić, Josip Mirošević... The school did not stop to work even during the war. At a time when "the cannons thunder, and the muses are silent", this educational institution, thanks to the enthusiasm of its professors and students’ will, expands. In 1996 it became Music High School, where new music hopes have been educated that enroll at the academies in Split, Zagreb, Ljubljana and Sarajevo.

The film 'Da Capo' was produced by Kadar Production house from Široki Brijeg and is created by Tomislav Topic, editing, Antoni Ćorić, camera and Tomislav Bubalo, producer.
