The film offers an intimate and comprehensive insight into the life, tireless mission, and indelible mark that Fr. Slavko Barbarić left on Medjugorje and the world. Through rare archival footage and touching, previously untold testimonies from his Franciscan brothers, close associates, and pilgrims, the narrative follows a man whose faith became a tangible act of love for his neighbour. The film reconstructs the genesis and development of his key visionary projects—from the sanctuary for the abandoned and "wounded" at Mother's Village (Majčino selo) and the "Merciful Father" (Milosrdni otac) therapeutic community, to supporting educated youth through the Friends of Talents fund, all the way to the global phenomenon of youth prayer and fellowship, the International Youth Festival Mladifest.
