Synopsis

The people of the remote village of Lukavac, situated close to the top of the Bjelašnica Mountain, lead a life of hardship and struggles, without a proper road to connect them with the rest of the world, often beaten by strong winds and buried in heavy snow. The remoteness of the village has made its people concentrate their efforts on building their own, self-reliant community with its own rules and moral code. This is a film about the centuries-old village of Lukavac and its people who believe that hardship is an unavoidable part of life and are even finding joy in it.
