Synopsis
On June 24, the Feast Day of St John the Baptist, thousands of people make an annual pilgrimage to the Church of St John in the village of Podmilačje to pray for the sick and infirm to be restored to health. People of different religions from all parts of Bosnia-Herzegovina circle the church on their knees, taking part in an old ritual that fills them with hope for a better future.
