An old butcher knife, the tool for the traditional pig slaughter, is the narrator of the last day in the life of a pig in the middle of a rural Balkan village idyll. The film is a dark and poetic reflection on mortality, tradition, and the inevitable cycles of life. It invites the viewer to face both the brutality and the beauty of existence through a ruthless, yet lyrical, perspective.
