Synopsis

For 50 years, Hayao Miyazaki has captivated the world with his films. This legendary Japanese animator and co-founder of the renowned Studio Ghibli, throughout his career, built an opus whose films almost instantly became cult classics. From My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke, to Spirited Away and his latest work The Boy and the Heron, Miyazaki's films reflect the turbulent events of the 20th and 21st centuries, marked by wars and environmental disasters, in a deeply personal and moving way. In all his work, he pays special attention to the relationship between humans and nature, and all its creatures. In this film, Studio Ghibli throws open its doors and offers us an extraordinary glimpse into the magical world of this mysterious artist.
