The projections of the documentaries from the MFF will take place in Slavonski Brod
Slavonski Brod has been living without a cinema, but not without film projections – in the Theathre and Concert Hall of Ivana Brlić Mažuranić, from April 1st till 3rd, the retrospective of documentary films from about twenty countries which participated in the Mediterranean Film Festival  will be held. The MFF has been taking place in Široki Brijeg, BiH, for 11 years now. The Retrospective will be held under the media auspices of Večernji list.

- Over the 11 years the Mediterranean Film Fetsival has grown into one of the largest manifestations of the documentary film production in this part of Europe and the world, and Slavonski Brod is honoured to be the host and the organizer of this film spectacle – say Bernard Karaš and Saša Karić on behalf of the SB-film Association, the organizer of the three-days film festivity, pointing out that the Embassy of Kingdom of Spain is their coorganizer. At the big screen of Ivana Brlić Mažuranić Hall the numerous fans of the seventh art will see the extremely valuable documentaries from Spain, Israel, Italy, Slovenia, Macedonia, BiH and Croatia, and the entrance is free. The projections will start at 8 p.m. on April 1st, and on the other days from 2 p.m. till 10 p.m. Besides the cultural, the Retrospective shall have a remarkable touristic significance, since about a hundred guests from the Mediterranean countries are going to dwell in Slavonski Brod at the time. This Retrospective is actually an introduction into the Festival of Feature and Documentary Film from 30 young countries, emerging after the fall of the Berlin wall, since 1989 till nowdays, says Bernard Karakaš in the name of SB-film.
