Film holidays in Široki Brijeg: 15th MFF hits the centre
Last night, at the full cinema Borak hall in Široki Brijeg, the 15th Mediterranean Film Festival started with the program of home author’s films and we saw the documentaries ‘Curiosity’ by Stjepan Skoko and ‘Hospital Incognito’ by Zdenko Jurilj.

The premiere of the West Herzegovinian County Government had the honour of opening the Festival, and Stipe Prlić, the president of the HT Eronet’ Board of Managers, which is the general sponsor of the Festival, Tomislav Topić, festival director and Robert Bubalo, festival producer also addressed to the audience at the opening ceremony.

The film that officially opened the 15th MFF was the premiere of the music documentary ‘Lost Button’, directed by Mario Vukadin, Renato Tonković and Robert Bubalo, dedicated to the cult rock band from these parts – Bijelo Dugme.

On the first night of the Mediterranean Film Festival the official competition program, which will have 22 films in the competition – 11 per each category – short and feature length documentary,  was opened by the French film ‘Happiness…Promised Land’.

After the film screenings, which were obviously a true hit because the cinema hall Borak was too small to seat all the film fans, the entertainment continued in the hotel ‘Park’ at the first one among the famous festival parties…
