Submissions closed: 300 films applied for 22 MFF
Tenders for submission of documentary films for the 22nd Mediterranean Film Festival, which is taking place from 25 to 28 August in Široki Brijeg, are closed. Preparations are in full swing and the best films for the competition program are being selected from 300 titles submitted through the MFF online application.

The festival selector Zdravko Mustać is going to see all the films that come from the 22 Mediterranean countries and the 22 MFF competition program will include the films that contain the highest artistic, aesthetic and technical qualities. Mediterranean Film Festival divides the films of the competition program in two categories – selection of short documentary film lasting up to 30 minutes, and selection of feature length documentary film lasting more than 30 minutes.

A six-member international jury, consisting of last year's winners as well as famous directors and filmmakers from the region, will evaluate the films from both selections, and they will decide on the best documentaries from the Mediterranean during the festival, while one award will traditionally be decided by the audience. In addition to the aforementioned competition program, we shall also watch the In Focus program, a retrospective of BH documentaries, children's programs, the latest world documentaries, screenings of feature films and premieres of films by local authors.

MFF proudly continues collaboration with the HBO film network and the American youth film camp ‘Outside the Lens’ whose mentors are going to lead the MFF Film Workshop (MFF School). The MFF Management would like to thank to all the authors and producers for the film submissions.
