Premiere of the film "King Tomislav" on April 29 at Cinestar in Zagreb
The official premiere screening of the feature-documentary film "King Tomislav" will be held on April 29th at 7:30 PM at the Cinestar Branimir Center in Zagreb. This film spectacle was filmed over the past two years on several locations in Croatia, and the scenes depict Tomislav's coronation, life at court, the battle of the Croats against the Bulgarians, Tomislav's navy, but also the life of the peasants at that time, and the Church Council in Split in 925. The film features rich costumes and makeup, as well as one of the most massive scenes with horses in Croatian film, which was filmed in the Trilj area, and in which numerous Alkars from Sinj played the warriors.

Numerous historians speak about King Tomislav in the film, including experts on the early Middle Ages from Germany and Great Britain, and the narrator, actor Dragan Despot, guides us through the film. The role of King Tomislav was played by the Mediterranean Film Festival producer Robert Bubalo. The film was produced by Večernji list, directed by Dražen Klarić, director of photography was Matej Pavelić, and the music was composed by Matej Meštrović, who will perform his musical work dedicated to King Tomislav at Carnegie Hall in New York. The film was made as part of the 1100th anniversary of King Tomislav's coronation.
