Competition program of the 26th Mediterranean Film Festival

In the competition program of the 26th Mediterranean Film Festival, which will be held in Široki Brijeg from October 7 to 11, 2025, a total of nineteen documentary films will be screened – nine feature-length and ten short – selected by programmer Zdravko Mustać.

The audience will have the opportunity to see world premieres as well as titles already awarded at prestigious international festivals. The best films will be decided by two three-member international juries: one in the feature-length category and the other in the short documentary category. The most successful feature-length film will receive the Festival’s Grand Prix, while the best short film will be awarded the Best Short prize. Festival audiences will also have the opportunity to vote and award a third prize.

Also, MFF is going to award the ‘Best Camera’ award, sponsored by the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ASBH), whose members are going to choose the best cinematography.
